Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Reminist account and all of the data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open Reminist and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Your account and all associated data are deleted immediately and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can’t access the app, email support@tauflife.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll verify your request and delete your account and data within 30 days (usually much sooner).
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your account and login (email and authentication records).
- Your profile — display name and relationship role.
- All of your stories — text, voice recordings, transcripts, attached photos, and any AI-generated titles and tags.
- The contacts you added and your sharing records (who you shared stories with).
- Your notification preferences and push-notification token.
- All of your uploaded files (audio and photos) in our storage.
What we keep, and for how long
We do not retain any of your personal data tied to your identity after deletion. Your data is removed from our live systems immediately, and residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days.
Note: if you contributed to a story that another person created, your contribution is part of their story and is removed along with your other content when your account is deleted.
Deleting only some of your data
You don’t have to delete your whole account to remove content. In the app you can delete an individual story at any time, which also removes its associated audio and photo files.
